Fair season is over, at least in our part of the Midwest. The Indiana State Fair just closed last weekend, leaving us with only memories of such culinary delights as fried Pepsi and fried Snickers bars (but without trans-fats!). This picture is from the Johnson County Fair, where my grandson had a ball on the carnival rides. A visual of the wonder children feel at small delights.
